Day trips from Madrid

Quite comfortable bus, brilliant restaurant in Segovia and very beautiful places. The downside is that there’s very little time to stop and appreciate everything in detail, especially the aqueduct and the unvisited cathedral.

Avila and Segovia are to be visited time and time again. I will never tire of walking through their streets and I have already thought about returning with my parents through this company.

History and art. Between both cities, there are at least 4 essential monuments to see in Spain, as well as many other interesting but not so famous ones.

Spectacular places. The Alcázar, the Cathedral and the aqueduct of Segovia along with the walls of Avila are impressive, worth seeing if you’re in Madrid

I loved the tour with this agency. The guide was very well prepared but sometimes gave the same explanations in English and Spanish, which took some time.

I highly recommend it. The guides information was amazing, and the tour around Avila and Segovia was gorgeous. We mostly visited the Avila walls and the Segovia aqueduct, but we also loved the cathedral and the Alcazar…

The alcazar, the aqueduct, the walls and several other highlights… Visiting both cities in a single day is definitely worth it.

I went by myself, and it wouldnt have been the same if I hadnt gone on a tour. The guide gave us tons of information on the history of Avila and Segovia, the latter was my favorite.

You walk a lot so its best to wear comfortable shoes. Segovia is beautiful, and you get some time to eat while seeing the aqueduct. I highly recommend it.

A charming city. Thanks to the guide we were able to discover Toledo as it was when it was the capital of the kingdom in the 16th century. Fantastic.

I’d recommend this tour. We had enough time to see the city highlights and walk around the old town streets. Be careful if you have mobility problems because a person who did the tour with us had a bad time.

Very complete. Starting with a panoramic view of the city form the viewpoint was great, to then visit the most emblematic places.

Good tour. It went by quickly as we saw all of the city highlights and got to walk around the old town. Personally, I liked the cathedral the most, as well as the panoramic view of the city and the Tagus river.

The weather wasn’t on our side but it was honestly worth it to go on this tour. The souvenir shop that they took us to was a little expensive.

Incredible. Walking through the streets of Toledo is to go back to the sixteenth century, where we saw how Jews, Muslims and Christians lived together in harmony.

Very complete. We saw the most important places of the city, and visited sites that were full of history and art accompanied by a guide who made us appreciate, understand and admire all the sites we visited.

We loved it. I think that if you travel to Madrid you need to see Toledo, and if you have a bit of time as we did, with a tour like this, as you can see the highlights in a single morning, comfortably, and with a guide explaining everything.

Amazing. I went with my husband and my older daughters and we enjoyed every moment of the tour and of all the monuments and places of interest.

Not recommended if you can’t walk much. You have a to walk a lot, and Toledo has very steep slopes, which made the tour very difficult for my husband and me.

Pure history. We saw vestiges of Roman times in both cities, but what I liked the most was Avila’s wall and the entire old town of Salamanca.

I loved it. I thought about visiting Salamanca and Avila on my own and over several days but with this tour I was able to enjoy both cities in a single day and value their highlights due to our guide, Estefani’s, indication.

An incredible day. If you’re in Madrid this tour is almost mandatory to get to see these two monumental cities and spend a great day visiting both.

A very thorough guide with all kinds of information about the Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen, although perhaps more time should have been dedicated to the trip.

Good tour and regular guide. Although the visits to El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen by themselves were worth it on their own, the guide could’ve provided more information.

It’s amazing. The cross of the Valley can be seen from far away and the Monastery is spectacular, where the Catholic royals are buried. A great trip, I recommend it 100%.

The tour in general is wonderful but I was not happy to have to wait all the time for the explanations to be translated into one or two or more languages.

Mandatory tour. An essential visit to two of the most historical and beautiful monuments in the history of Spain.
